Movies for Christians That Aren’t Faith-Based

4–6 minutes

As believers, we’re called to guard our hearts and minds (Philippians 4:8). That doesn’t mean avoiding all entertainment—but it does mean being thoughtful about what we consume. That’s why we created this list of movies for Christians that aren’t faith-based but are wholesome enough to be worth a watch.

The films on this list don’t contain the typical negative traits that most films prioritize, such as casual profanity, including using God’s name in vain. There seems to be a trend where every single person on TV has to say the G**d**n word. Despite what they tell you, that is a curse word. It’s also a sin to say “Oh my God,” when you’re not actually praying or asking for help from our heavenly father. Again, these films keep that stuff out.

Instead of showing fifth and sin, this list of movies for Christians that aren’t faith-based contain more positive traits, such as friendship, loyalty, courage, home, and family unity. Check one of these out the next time you’re looking for a Saturday evening movie.
